Job Description

The Physician Assistant for the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Department will be responsible for actively participating in and providing direction for the treatment of wounds in the inpatient and outpatient setting and identifying patients for and overseeing hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatment in two monoplace chambers. The individual who accepts this full-time position will typically work during the day Monday through Friday.


Successful completion of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
Master's in Physician Assistant Studies or related field

Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Wisconsin

National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Refined communication skills to effectively interact with patients and all categories of healthcare professionals

Awareness of key drivers for patient satisfaction and a commitment to practice accordingly

Other Considerations:
Experience and certification in wound care and/or hyperbaric oxygen therapy is helpful, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to be considered for recognition as a clinical program coordinator.
