Job Description

The Department Assistant for Diagnostic Services is responsible for performing a variety of essential functions which may include, but are not limited to: answering telephones; typing; sorting/distributing mail; scheduling meetings/appointments; maintaining/updating various files and reports; maintaining office supplies, materials and equipment; monitoring and using the employee time keeping system; and performing other duties/projects as assigned

Education: High School or Equivalent (GED)
Experience Required: Entry Level
A college education or one to two (1-2) years of previous relevant experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Knowledge and experience with various computer programs/software including Microsoft Office and the Internet.
Ability to comprehend established office routines, policies, and procedures. Ability to learn quickly from oral and written instructions. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
