Job Description

  • POSITION PURPOSE
    • Under the direction of the Manager of Information Services, performs setup, configuration, installation, and support functions for PCs and printers. Installs and troubleshoots various software applications as needed. Assists the Network Engineer in the set up, testing and installation of new systems/applications. Documents and resolves assigned HelpDesk requests.
  • MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
    • Associate Degree: Computer Operations or equivalent work experience
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    • 3 months to 1 year

  • LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
    • N/A
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
    • Three months to one year of experience in computing concepts and networking.
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
    • Documentation through service ticketing system of resolution found/task performed.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and end users .
    • Creative and analytical thinker/problem solver.
    • Ability to learn various software applications.
  • PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    • Provide exceptional customer service.
    • Troubleshooting and finding resolution of computer and/or networking issues.
    • Documentation through service ticketing system of resolution found/task performed.
    • Assists the Network Engineer with testing and installation of new systems/applications.
    • Perform hardware/software moves, changes, additions and upgrades.
    • Ability to take remote control of individual computer desktops.
