Job Description

  • POSITION PURPOSE
    • A clinic office specialist is responsible for performing a variety of essential business functions that may include: check in/out activities, communications, lab registrations and referrals.
  • MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
    • High School or Equivalent (GED)
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    • Entry Level
  • LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
    • Formal education beyond high school in Business or Accounting or experience preferred.
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
    • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
    • Knowledge of telephone etiquette, typing, computer, calculator, copy machine and use of a fax machine.
  • PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    • Receives and processes information to facilitate customer requests demonstrating Froedtert South values in all interactions.

    • Performs business functions to support positive financial outcome(s).
    • Inputs, compiles and retrieves computerized data.
    • Attends classes/seminars to maintain/ enhance level of expertise.
